| NUT and UCU members struck across London today. This was the latest action in the campaign to stop the ConDem government’s attacks on public sector pensions. Messages of support for the strike were sent from around the country, with many making it clear that they want the next action to be national. Thousands of strikers marched through London. They were joined by students, a delegation from the PCS and other public sector unions. As the march weaved through London PCS members came out of their offices to welcome the demonstration. |
