Why we should scrap Trident
Trident is useless as well as expensive and dangerous. Nuclear weapons - a legacy of the Cold War era - do not remotely meet the security needs of 21st century Britain. They do not act as an effective deterrent, but merely contribute to a dangerous nuclear arms race, nuclear blackmail against smaller states and divert precious resources that could instead be invested in job creation and public services.
Come and hear the arguments against Trident, and be part of the discussion. ALL WELCOME
