Amongst the many shameless attacks included in the Trade Union Bill, one in particular is designed to undermine our ability to campaign on political issues. Attacks on trade union political funds will undermine labour party funding but will also make it extremely difficult for unions to fund political campaigns supported by their members. The FREE meeting will take place on Wednesday 29th July at 6.00pm at Mander Hall, NUT, Mabledon Place, London, WC1H 9BD. The meeting has been organised by the Institute of Employment Rights (IER), the Campaign for Trade Union Freedom (CTUF), the Centre for Labour and Social Studies (CLASS) and The People’s Assembly Against Austerity. |
