NUJ BBC Strike 19 August
we’re
ON
STRIKE
We are on strike on Wednesday 19 August.
This is why:

Asian Network is the most listened to Asian radio station in the UK,
with a weekly reach of 607,000 listeners. But you wouldn’t think so,
the way we have been treated.

Three years ago the BBC halved the staff and halved the budget and
promised it would be end of the cuts. Now, we are to lose one of our two
editor roles and the Bobby Friction show is moving to London.

Our action is to demonstrate to the BBC how upset and angry we
are at the proposals.
We say STOP PICKING on the Asian Network
