| On Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 some 50 people took part in the Save Jarrow Walk-In Centre bed push from the Jarrow Walk-In Centre to Monkton Hall CCG headquarters to present a copy of the letter sent to the Chair of the Independent Reconfiguration Panel opposing the closure. The marchers asserted the right of the people to the Walk-In Centre in a location that meets their needs and the right to decide the future of their health service and their NHS.
