The First Division Association, with 18,000 members, has voted to join the pensions strike on November 30 by 81% in a 54% turnout. Prospect, with 30,000 members, has also voted to join with a 75% majority on a 52% turnout. This means all the unions in the Civil Service should now be out on November 30. The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists have17,500 members in the NHS who voted by 83% to vote on a 58.2% turnout. 66% of the Society of Radiotherapists have voted to strike on November 30. At least 15,000 members will be out. On Wednesday 16th November the GMB and UNITE will declare their ballot results. On Thursday 17th the NASUWT will declare theirs. |
