Industrial action will take place from 4-6 July by Cleaners, Porters and Security staff against the multinational Serco who recently took over the contract at Barts Trust, Serco are implementing job cuts at Whipps Cross, increasing workloads and are refusing to pay a 30p per hour increase in line with inflation The contract will cost taxpayers £600m and make large profits for Serco at the expense of hard working staff. These workers play a vital role in looking after our health Their treatment by this arrogant employer shows everything that is wrong with outsourcing. This is a critical dispute in England's biggest NHS Trust with a Government determined to fragment and privatise our NHS. Lets give the workers our support.
